The Silverstars, culminated as a dynamic vocal group
in the year 1977. 'Alkhalique", :Hakim: (Keith and
Duane Hamilton) and 'Shaquon' (William Bobbitt), grew
up in the city of Newark, NJ. The group began touring
the Country, sharing the stage with such notables as
The Five Stairsteps; Ted "The Wizard" Mills and Blue
Magic; Ricky West and Kool and the Gang; The
Escorts; The Delfonics; The Manhattans; Harold
Melvin's Blue Notes; Colnel Abrams and others.
